Jay Brock to Speak to Rappahannockindivisible Indivisible 9/12/20
A Liberal/Conservative Approach to Universal Health Care
Rappahannock Indivisible—We the People will hold its monthly open meeting on Wednesday September 12 at 7 pm. The featured speaker will be Dr. Jay Brock, whose topic is “A Liberal/Conservative Approach to Universal Health Care.”Dr. Brock is an American physician who trained at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. After finishing his Family Practice Residency, he was hired to teach in the same Residency Program as Assistant Professor of Family Medicine. After returning to the U.S. Dr. Brock settled in Fredericksburg, where he ran a solo practice for more than three decades.Dr. Brock is a past president of the Fredericksburg Area Medical Society.
Dr. Brock said that he is looking forward to speaking on this subject and is especially interested in hearing and learning from those who might have different positions on this important issue.The meeting will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Rappahannock, 366 James Wharf Road in White Stone. All members of the community are welcome to attend.
